Firth of Forth Lobster Hatchery

The Firth of Forth Lobster Hatchery is a locally run marine conservation and education charity seasonally onsite at North Berwick Harbour April to October.

This sustainable fishing project takes “berried hens” from local fishermen and hatches, rears and returns grown juveniles to restock the Firth of Forth.

The Firth of Forth Lobster Hatchery welcomes visitors and group visits at their production and education containers, run by seasonal staff and volunteers. Entry is free, donations welcome to help towards production costs.
