Scottish Seabird Centre

Control the interactive live cameras in the award-winning Discovery Centre to zoom in on amazing wildlife on the Firth of Forth islands. The Bass Rock is the world’s largest Northern gannet colony and BBC Countryfile Magazine’s Nature Reserve of the Year, and the Isle of May is the largest puffin colony on the east coast of Britain. There’s different wildlife to see throughout the year.

Explore different zones, enjoy nature films in the Wildlife Theatre, and there’s a soft play and Kids’ Corner for little ones. Visit www.seabird.org for their events programme.

The Seabird Cafe has East Lothian’s only seaside sun deck and the Gift Shop is jam-packed with produce made my local artists and craftspeople.

There are also seasonal boat trips, including the Forth Ferry.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the decking area and water bowls can be provided. Assistance dogs are welcome in the Centre.
